what IPs does the Switch need on year 2 and 3 to keep the momentum going on? so after Mario Odyssey on November 2017, which big IP should follow? Do we need Smash 5 on November 2018? But what are the IPs in between besides Yoshi and Kirby? Pokemon RPG or even a mainline Pokemon could be great but currently it is TBA. And I don't think Metroid would be a super smash hit, great but it won't sell a lot of consoles.

Wanted Switch to be successful and surpass XBox One as soon as possible and third party to bring their games to Switch. What are your thoughts?

A proper HD Animal Crossing game could be a serious system seller, and if Nintendo have any sense they're working on one as we speak. It's not out of the question that it could see release next year.

Pikmin 4 and Fire Emblem should be arriving in 2018, though those are probably not going to be big system sellers. A Mario Kart 8 Deluxe style re-release of Smash Wii U with DLC included as "Super Smash Bros for Nintendo Switch" is a probable candidate for next year also. Xenoblade 2 might be bumped to 2018 too.

Prime 4 probably won't be coming until 2019 or 2020.

Then there's all the pent up demand that isn't being met currently due to supply shortages; hopefully by next year these shortages are solved, which in itself could boost sales considerably.
