Nintendo isn't selling these. They aren't making a dime on these sales, these are resellers. So Nintendo isn't laughing to anywhere.
And if I were to guess, they make $15 to $20 absolute tops on the NES. It's not just the system, they had to license those 3rd party games. And then there's all the little things that add up: fabricating the case, assembly, shipping, the retailer's cut. The NES made profits obviously but not the insane ammounts people think.
