What if isn't about whether you think is possible or not. It's about entertaining the notion being brought up.

That's the thing. Bringing up the notion doesn't make any sense, whether I think it makes sense or not. I personally can't see Microsoft and Nintendo working together, short or long term, even as a "what if" or as a joke. Both have different ends, dynamics and workstyles. I don't think I'm the only one thinking it's inconceivable.

Besides, I don't know why are you getting so hell bent on immediately discarding my opinion just because this thread is a "what if". Chill out!
