- Finally getting an NES and realizing that I disliked both Mario and Duck Hunt.
- Being blown away by Link to the Past, which was probably my favorite game until I played FF VI.
- Realizing that, despite being something of a Nintendo fanboy, I was actually a much bigger fan of third-party games in general. Thus I finally accepted that jumping to the PS1 was my fate.
