About the controls = i'm pretty sure he used the motion controls before making the video, that's why he turned them off in the video. It was a way of saying that both options sucked, although maybe I interpreted it wrong.
Also : "He complains about how "dumb" the game is. Yeah, because he only plays casual turf wars." If the game's main mode inspires someone to call it out as dumb ... then that's a fault of the game designers. I don't really see your logic here, turf wars isn't dumb so your counter-point could have simply been "the game isn't dumb." I don't really agree with most of his video but come on guys, some of the stuff your saying is just a bit too defensive. I get that he wasn't completely right but ... there was less defense given when he slammed Half Life 2 HAHAHAHA |
His point was that the game was mindless and it was too easy to spawn kill his opponents, but he only played the easy mode that beginners play. It's like playing Persona 5 on Safety and then complaining about the game's difficulty.
As for aiming, his complaint is even more spurious because the gyro controls are the best shooter controls I've ever played on a console. Compared to Halo, Call of Duty, the Last of Us, Battlefield, etc, it's more precise and doesn't even require aim-assist, which Dunkey is apparently dependent on for pure twin-stick shooters. If he had given the motion controls a fair chance, he would've realized that aiming for other players is actually quite easy.
