Developer 4J Studios has come through with major, new patch 1.06, boosting Minecraft Switch Edition from 1280x720 to 1920x1080 while docked to a TV. What you get is a jump in image quality that pays off hugly for long-distance views of a world, and in 4 layer split-screen. But does the upgrade come with any unwanted side-effects?
