Expected a little more from the Switch, so I'm a little bummed by those numbers, especially since VGC has 4.26 million as of June 3rd vs. Nintendo's 4.70 million as of June 30th, hinting towards slight overtracking, but oh well.
At least the 3DS makes up for it. Nintendo has 67.08 million as of June 30th, VGC has 64.9 million as of June 3rd. So, that is slightly undertracked it would seem.

Now, as for the software side of things.
I am very pleased to see Breath of the Wild doing the numbers it's doing, and is the biggest positive of these latest figures.
For comparison's sake, the Wii version of Twilight Princess did 4,113,705 units from launch to the end of December 2007 - 13 months worth of data. The Switch version of Breath of the Wild is at 3.92 with a little under 4 months of data. This is on track to comfortably and easily become the best selling Zelda game of all-time and the first game in the series to crack 10 million. Hopefully it keeps the momentum going!
Mario Kart did extremely well, but it's Mario Kart, so I expected nothing less.
1-2 Switch at over 1 million is sure to displease a number of people, but I digress.
ARMS cracking 1 million within its first month is quite impressive for a new IP.
Pokemon Sun/Moon continues to grow, I expect that to eclipse X/Y as the best selling 3DS game, and I expect Mario Kart 7 to catch it as well.
