Splatoon 1's campaign was pretty straightforward and basic really, this one pushes you to do a lot of creative things, use all your weapons and there's a lot of really cool mechanics everywhere... plus even the overworld is a joy to explore, moreso than before. (edit: oh and the bosses are also far better this time around - I was especially impressed with the 4th one.) |
Sounds good to me! As someone who doesn't do online multiplayer, I'll be buying Splatoon 2 solely for the campaign, and I thoroughly enjoyed the first game's, so if it's even better this time around, I'll be happy as a squid in ink.
