Hmm, okay that makes sense... it just feels like it's way too hard to lose ranks like this (I know at one point I lost like 4 or 5 games in a row and only then did it crack for the first time), like everyone's just gonna get to A+ eventually. I hope I'm wrong, though.

Yeah, I was thinking that too, but then I realized that it was pretty similar in the first game. When you start out at C-, a victory gives you like +15 points, and a loss is just -5 points. I'm guessing higher ranks will crack easier and have the OK mark at a higher point in the bar.
