See, Sony has a fuck ton of exclusives and options in their console, for me, I want to focus forward, I honestly don't need BC that badly. I want new worlds, new experiences. The classics are great to revisit but I think emulation (on PC) will alleviate that, regardless of how moral it is or isn't.
I'm sure MS didn't do the pseudo-BC to cover their lack of 1st party support, probably more of trying to build good will with the fanbase they themselves tried so hard to push away. I think MS's form of BC is actually a great feature and I applaud them for it, but personally I didn't need it, I have enough current gen games to go through to last me the rest of the gen.
