Weapons didn't break and vanish after a couple dozen strikes on Bloodborne. I understand the point was to encourage innovative ways to defeat enemies, but the practical effect was people stockpiling the best weapons, fearing to use them.

A couple dozen strikes?

A single dozen max, you mean.

I'm personally all for weapon durability. But in BOTW, Nintendo made all the weapons as if they were made of glass. It is ridiculous at times. I get what they were going for, with the added tension and all that. And it did work for me for the most parts.

That being said, Bloodborne has durability, but the game is balanced enough so that you won't spend 3 brand new weapons on the same enemy...

I was being generous.
