It is filled with a ton of action. Which is what's making this feel generic. It's Star Trek Nemesis crash every 5 seconds. I need to see the other side of Star Trek. This trailer didn't do it for me. It would of worked fine if this was like season 4. Not as a pilot trailer. But Mudd? Come on... Stop using things setup later. Enterprise freaking did it with the Ferengi. Have they learned nothing from ENT. I thought he was gonna be Trilane's species at first. No it's freaking Mudd. Also, don't try to use Sarek's dialog to convince people to accept the series before we saw the first episode. That's just bullshit.
