Haven't seen it yet but I am excited to. Mainly because it seems like there is no real character development.. To me war movies isn't about people. It's about the spectacle. If you look at Michael bay's pearl harbor, you always skip the padded on drama at the beginning, but I'm sure most would agree that once the attack scene begins it's really enjoyable. Sure you need developed characters to care about what happens to them, but I think the whole human aspect of movies has been overrated throughout the years. Surely you can make compelling film without them In various forms
