I don't really agree, though I still think it's truly overrated. It's the best war movie I've seen though, I think every war movie is between horrid and meh. The best one before Dunkirk being Saving Private Ryan. Which was a 6/10 movie at best imho.
The reception in my cinema was pretty poor though. No claps at the ending, people leaving in the middle of the movie and ton of comments about boredom. But, to be frankly, this movie, unlike every Nolan movie before, doesn't have any mainstream appeal. It's too minimalistic, it has almost no dialogue, and it's not fast-paced enough to be of general interest imho.
