With that I've just been buying every clothes and unlocking its abilities. But I like partnering it with the increase Special Ep Faster ability. 

Yeah in the first game I used Aerospray + Run Faster + Swim Speed Up + Special Up for Turf Wars. Moving fast with the aeropray to paint as much of the map as quickly as possible, while building super meter. Use super meter to get an easy kill and then paint the undefended area. Rinse, and repeat ftw.
