Since you can't use Bluetooth for Switch unless you buy a Bluetooth converter, this does use a lot more cords than what you described for your phone.

When my Switch is docked and I'm playing online with the voice chat app, I would have a Bluetooth headset for my phone and the charger for my phone. That's all you'd really need. The dock stuff on the Switch would be hooked up anyway. If you want game audio through the headset, that's a whole different but optional thing.

That said, no one in their right mind would use this app as it is now anyway.
