I think that's what's interesting about the Switch. You can utilize it as a home console, a handheld, or both. Thus this gives you different options to pursue to get the best out of your experience. You can choose to spend more or spend less. Plus it's a long term investment for 5 or so years. Plus it depends on the game that comes up. Some might really just want to play Mario Odyssey on the TV while others might want to play Pokémon on handheld.
