The switch is a mini ps4 when the ps4 is at its prime (ps4 pro doesn't count)

The Switch has nothing on the Playstation 4 in terms of power.
Heck. It can't even touch the Xbox One... And that console is hilariously underpowered.

^ think these are right? cant remember, but I know its not fair to say "vita specs are similar to new 3ds aka wii level".

The PS Vita has like 10 times as much power as the 3ds, in terms of flops, actual performance its probably more.

Same with the Switch, in handheld mode its more than 3 times the power of a ps vita.

Ignoring the fact that flops are not an accurate way of determining system capabilities/performance... The Vita was superior to the 3ds, without contest.
I am not sure if he is actually being serious with his assumptions.

Imagine if you have to charge your phone or Switch at the same time.

I've had to charge my phone and/or controller many times while playing games online with friends, so that should be a very common scenario.

One thing I like about the Xbox controller is the fact it can take AA battery's. You just instantly swap battery's over rather than deal with cables.

It's 2017, less cables should be the goal.

I preffer battery kit and a secondary controller (sure the battery could be removable and just need it to recharge) and I don't bother with the charging cable even though I could swap controllers... but sure there is value on the quick way on Xbox.
