Miyamotoo said: So many things wrong in this post. The current/upcoming Switch software line-up is easily one of strongest for any Nintendo console ever in 1st year (in 1st 10 monts more accurate). Ports doesn't take a lot time and manpower compared to new games, actually ports can be done in few months, new games usually requires 2-3 years. Switch regardles few Wii U ports this year will still have a unique games, Snipperclips, ARMS, Splatoon 2, Mario x Rabbids, Mario Oddysey, Xenoblade 2...reality is that Nintendo is porting only 2 Wii U games this year, MK8D and Pokken Tournament DX, while Zelda BotW is brand new game with dual release. |
Odyssey and X2 are the only games right now I really look forward to. It's absolutely not worth it to buy a Switch for two games that aren't released yet and we barely know anything about the games releasing in 2018. They weren't even able to show some Pokemon and Metroid gameplay. And it will take a year of not years for Switch to get a lot of big and new games if everybody is working on ports at this moment. Digital Foundry said Nintendo is working on even more ports and now apparently Platinum is working on 2/3 ports.
