Just because some Wii U games are being ported to the Switch doesn't mean the quality of the system with those games is null and void. Despite the fact that is going on for some of those games, I still see it as a good console. It's too bad it didn't do very well.

Edit: You seem to have forgotten that some GameCube games were ported to the Wii like the first 2 Pikmin games and the 1st two Metroid Prime games.

I disagree that the Wii U is a piece of garbage because of games released on the Switch.  But, even if that was true, the reality is that Nintendo exists for the sole purpose of increasing shareholder value.  They do that by making money now, not preserving the legacy of retired products.
