(1) Not everyone who bought a switch this year, bought it for zelda otherwise the sales for both this year would match. (2) Also, adding in the cost of the console doesn't mean that zelda sold the most copies this year compared to games with higher sales this year. (3) I get that you like zelda but you can't change facts to fluff up the sales of your favored game. I'm sure zelda will sell very well so just let it's own sales numbers speak for itself.

(1) According to VGC-forums Zelda has no competition, so if there are no games outside Zelda you purchase the console for Zelda.

(2) Well, but it did sold the most copies, excluding PC which isn't tracked well here. If we include PC, probably For Honor, Ghost Recon and Biohazard sold more, but VGC has no good numbers for PC. That's why I wrote console game and explained it in the OP.

(3) But I didn't change any facts. Which facts should I have changed? You confuse me. Be more concrete, if you know I got something wrong you should point out the correction instead of being nebulous as you are.

(1) Wrong. According to vgchartz...

 Global  USA  Europe  Japan

Global Top Sellers 03rd June 2017

1 PS4 Tekken 7 433,359

2 NS Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 132,617

3 XOne Tekken 7 91,255

4 PS4 Injustice 2 87,969

5 NS The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 85,061

6 PS4 Overwatch 72,937

7 3DS Pokemon Sun/Moon 56,576

8 PS4 Grand Theft Auto V 53,170

9 PS4 Horizon: Zero Dawn 51,997

10 NS Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers 44,160

There's other ns games on that list besides zelda. Again, if people were really buying ns just for zelda, their sales would be match or be really close

(2) Horizon and zelda are very close in sales this year according to this site so it's very arguable on which one is selling better. Also as you mentioned pc, we don't really have any numbers from that so it's difficult to be accurate in best selling statements. I still don't see the point in trying to fluff up it's numbers when it's doing well.

(3) Just that firt bit about zelda being the reason people are buying ns is not factual and the foundation of your op is illogical.
