It needs a bit more "fluff" to be amazing. Some cinematics, character, etc. It's just races, graphics, gameplay, music, and results.

 

I love it but I can't help but imagine what could be.

Just played a couple cups of Fast RMX. Very cool game. If it were more expensive I could see it needing more stuff, but for a $20 game it seems pretty freakin great so far. A very solid  inexpensive replacement for Fzero assuming Fzero never comes out.
