we did have something to do with it though. they would have been entirely edible back then, i'll give you that, but selective breeding has had an effect on the taste and overall quality of the different meats that we eat. and yes, we do also eat a lot of non-domesticated animals. duck tastes great and ive heard venicon is good, but they are not as meaty and tender as store bought meats. thats really the point i was trying to make
