Overwatch is very popular, but its market penetration is not nearly on the level other other games listed. What it has going for it is the fact its smaller userbase plays the game alot. So total play hours Overwatch may be competitve, sales? Nope.

That's not true. OVerwatch just isn't a physical sales/console heavy game.

Destiny released in september of 2014 and didn't get to *nearly* 30 million players till april of 2016. Overwatch got 30 million users from late may 2016 to march of 2017. Keep in mind a lot of sales of Overwatch are on the PC, where you can't switch accounts to play the same game, essentially the games are linked to accounts so you'd need to rebuy the game for a 2nd account. Whereas a game like Destiny can be played on *any* account if you have it physically. Essentially even if people were making multiple accounts on Overwatch to play it, they'd have to rebuy the game. I don't know why you're talking about hours played... marketing teams usually don't use that metric. Total number of players isn't entirely accurate, but especially for account-locked games it's much more accurate than it would be for say, Destiny. Though I believe on console you don't need a battle.net account? I don't know, I don't have it on console lol.  I'm not saying it's sold more than Destiny, but the market penetration is there.

I was simply saying that people who do play Overwatch play it alot. CoD has a higher percent of casual players. I know a ton of people who play CoD casually. Where as I dont know a single person who plays overwatch casually (like 1 hour a week)
