Just a warning you asked but I will put in spoilers.
When I was a teenager I didn't have the best home life and neither did my ex friend. So we ventured off into the world of drugs. Breaking into cars and stealing. Setting fire to dumpsters. Stealing from stores. At some point when at school the HC of the Football team knew I needed help even tho I never met him. He came in my class one day with a huge guy behind him and asked if I wanted to arm wreslte that guy. I just said...sure. I'm 5'4"..this dude was 6'3" 250 of muscle.I had no chance but he welcomed me to the Football team and it gave me structure and I moved away my short stint of crime. My friend was already expelled by this point. We started drifting from one another but I still came over every so often. Well this friend was a certified sociopath. I mean literally. I came over to his place one day and as a animal lover this is the worst site I had ever seen. He took his cats kittens. Gutted them. Trotured them. Mutliated them. Broke one of their necks in front of me. I have never been so horrified up to that point. I was in shock. There was one kitten left.I grabbed her and took her home. She was only a week old. To her I became mom and she just was as loyal to me as a dog and kept her for her entire 16 year life. Well Balthier in Final Fantasy 12 has the exact face of that former friend who I cut ties with that very day he did that shit. Oddly what saved her life before I got there was he liked the white stripe on her back. So this day even tho I love the game and the character is awesome..when I see his face I can't get that day out of my mind. So I try not looking at the screen when they do close ups.
