What are you talking about man? Have you seriously worked on any movie? Some photographers and art director have great reputation and can be the difference between a good and a great movie, you think the Director is a God that decides everything but this is not how it woprks most of the time, is a team work.

The director isn't a God, but the director has final creative decision.... That's his job. He may often take advise, but the final call is his.
