Actually, in the quarter that W101 released, the WiiU sales were already down the drain - 9,565 on average per week. The average for August was 8,500 and around 5000 in September. So, the Wii U may have had a strong start but it was virtually dead in less than a year.

It doesn't matter, that didn't stopped that some other games that were relased in similar time frime sell much better than W101 (Pikmin 3 and Zelda WW HD).

A talking about Wii U sales, fact is that had better 1st year and first hited 1m sales before Vita and PS4. PS4 also had plenty of 10k weeks even below 10k weeks in 1st year, thats why needed 49 weeks (lol) to hit 1st milion.
