I love how you speak on behalf of all who compared it to splatoon.  Most actually meant in terms of sales and popularity. It's clearly falling short.  

 

I only brought that up to counter the point someone else made about lots of people saying it would flop.  Not to downplay it's relative success. Let's not push a false narrative here. 

When the release was close there was way more people thinking it was gonna flop than people that thought it was gonna be a gigantic success like Splatoon, specially after the few points the game was getting on COMG
