There's no question, he does not hit harder with his hands. Not even close.
Look at the sports science videos on mma and boxing. 145 lbs fighters were able to kick harder than heavyweights could punch.
Couple that with the fact that mayweather has brittle hands with repeat injuries, and is not a powerpuncher.
