Usually in these early months PS4s have sold just under a million units per month, but this year it managed 7 million in what 5 months? 

5 months and a week I think.

Yeah that's a huge bump, and with Gran Turismo this Holiday PS4 is set to cross 20 million for 2017 sales.

And I suspect 2018 will be the peak year with God of War, Detroit Become Human, Days Gone, etc. But the real system sellers will be Spiderman and Red Dead Redemption 2, those games will get people who'd normally have no interest in a Playstation to buy one.
