The whole movie has a great atmosphere, great pacing, very memorable scenes and is just beutifully shooted, it was a great experience to see for the first time and I loved how different the tone was from every other movie on the genre back then, pretty dark and tragic, I remember even the most skeptics to this kind of movies were pretty impressed, many thought superhero/antihero movies were bad by default, Dark Knight broke this taboo for a lot of them.
