Of course Switch is the more desired console as of this current moment. It is a new item and has yet to sell through the launch excitement that built up around it.
Whether that will remain true once the people who wanted one day one and still haven't been able to find one remains to be seen, but it's still impressive that the PS4 is doing so damned well in it's fourth year with seemingly no impact on its sales from the switch. Both are doing great at the moment.
While personally I don't think the Switch will do ps4's numbers (except in Japan) they will coexist quite well, I think, especially for those, like me, who use their ps4's as the TV console and the switch as a handheld and travel console.
