True. Any game on this earth could go multi-plat... As long as sales are lackluster. I'm saying that if sales are lackluster for this game, expect it to go multi-plat. Especially because it's been announced as a trilogy, they won't do three games with horrible sales in a row. By that token, if MGS4 or FFXIII sales are lackluster, I do expect them to go multi-plat. But these games are lightyears more hyped than Tenchu, and will go on to sell very well, even if only on hype. Tenchu doens't (and won't) have they hype surrounding it, since the franchise has been run into the ground, but I do hope it does well, I loved the original Tenchu. |
Since when did lackluster sales = automatic change in console development?
Even still, so long as the sales generate profit, it's staying on Wii and we all know that low sales on Wii can still equal profits. Worse yet for the HD consoles is that if sales on Wii are low, they sure as hell aren't going to go speing 2-3 times the money on an HD console series that may or may not generate any profits either. |

First, Tenchu Five and Six aren't in development right now.
B. Lackluster sales =/= change in console
Thridly, I don't imagine it wouldn't stay with the Wii if it didn't generate profit, it'd just also be on PS2, PS3 and 360, maybe even PSP/DS.
