Rhetorical Question: Of course not. It's going to explode when the week before, during, and after Splatoon 2 launches. Then it's going to drop back to the levels they're at now, maybe 20-50k higher, and they'll stay that way until we hit October.

It all comes down to the situation with the NAND memory shortage.  We don't know much about how that is going because other than confirming that, yes, the shortage is real, all parties involved - Apple, Nintendo, Toshiba - have been tight-lipped.  Likely to avoid alarming stockholders or other investors.
