Try convincing the public to buy a Steam machine over an Xbox to play Cuphead. Steam Machines is not what Console only gamers want. The Xbox does a better job being a Steam Machine. Play Anywhere and the big hitting 1st party title games from Xbox dont cross to Steam *cough Horizon 3* Isnt the argument about playing Exclusives yet you recommand a Steam Machine which has rarely any 1st party exclusives... aside from Valves 10 year old games? Interesting. |
I know that the steam box wouldn't be the console of choice. I predicted that it would be doa because people don't want all of the choices higher tier PC gaming comes with. No offense though , but this is steam we're talking about though. If valve wanted to stick it to micorsoft they could beat them over the head with exclusives. Microsoft isn't a tough opponent to beat convincingly with exclusives. What micorsoft does is they make a nice operating system with features and they survive of fun of that and multiplats.
as for cuphead, I'll be getting it day one but werw talking a former boss battle side scroller. I don't think that game was made for Most casuals unless micorsoft told them to change it. It's going to be mostly the hardcore buying that for sure just like nex machina on PlayStation and PC.
