It doesn't and thats was my point, same like fact that Nintendo little less profit than hole Sony last FY.

You are again wrong, at launch PS4 sold at loss.

https://www.cnet.com/news/playstation-4-to-sell-at-a-loss-but-sony-expects-profit/

"Bringing" money and profit are not same things, hole Sony (with 125k employees) last year a little bigger profit than Nintendo (that has 5.5k emploeyes).

Vita is dead (it has weeks sales around 4-5k in 2017.), but 3DS is still selling good and has same sales like last year, and actualy it will be again YOY when 2DS XL launches in few weeks. PS4 this year sold only 120k more than 3DS in its 7. year on market. Yes, Switch will be only Nintendo platform in around 2 years, but currently still is selling good, same couldn't be said for Vita.

By profit I mean Playstation 4 wasn't losing them money. Including software and ps plus it was actually making them lots day one.  I don't see the point in cherry picking one aspect of the platform (the hardware)  and saying it was making a loss.

When someone say "console is selling with profit or loss" it means that hardware itself is selling with profit or loss, not if console will sell with profit with few games sold and online subscription. For instance Regiee said for Wii U that Wii U is selling with profit with one or two sold games (something similar Sony said for PS4 at launch), that basically means that hardware itself was selling at loss. PS3, Wii U and PS4 sold with loss at launch, Switch is selling from launch with profit, actually 3DS and Wii U are only Nintendo consoles that were selling with loss on launch.
