And it would look silly considering Sony's one console is selling more and is far more profitable.  Sony are definitely the happier of the two this gen. 

3DS is still on market and actual in its 7. year on market its still selling good.

How that has anything with sales in Japan!? And for reference, PS4 didn't sell with profit from start, Switch is selling with profit from start, not to mention that Nintendo also has huge profit on 1st party games, and Switch 1st party games are selling great (Zelda BotW and MK8D are killing it and now Splatoon 2 will start killing it also).

Ps4 did make a profit from day 1. Psn alone now brings in more then Nintendo.  The overall Playstation revenue is far bigger too. 

 

The vita is still on the market.  3DS and Vita are winding down.  I think next year 3ds gets really low.  Switch will be the sole m Nintendo platform in the next 2 years.  Same as ps4 for Sony when vita officially dies.
