One, these were shareholders, whom these executives/board members have absolutely no influence over and who often have limited relations with the company by design. Second, if you don't like him, vote against him. He could have been voted out right then with no recourse for him. On a side note, all 5 executives re-elected are around 97% favorable votes. That is very high but things right now are very good so not shocking. Though it is very high. |
Reading it more closely, yeah I was mistaken. I was under the impression it was solely employees. Also the fact that is was 87% last year is a give-away they aren't bound to do anything.
Well anyway, now that he's got their confidence, I hope he keeps the momentum going.
