But I don't think the advertising will be big anywhere *except* Microsoft events. The budget for the game seems incredibly small for a first party tbh.
It's also worth mentioning that in the 7th gen Microsoft had set up a lot of 1st tier exclusives like Halo, Gears and Fable,and 2nd tier exclusives like Halo Wars, Crackdown. But Halo Wars sold pretty badly on the One, even their big games are selling less - it's likely it will sell worse. |
I was the fastest selling XBLA game it's first week and it took a while to hit 2 million but those sales came from word of mouth alone so that pretty good.
Considering that this game is getting multiplayer a bigger budget and is coming out early next year so it won't have much competition it could do very well.
