What are you comfortable with eating or using that is expired?

I use pain relief medication (like Ibuprofen) even is it's a month pay expiration.

Aside from that, I get iffy about stuff even when the expiration date is close but not past. I have a bad experience with milk that managed to get chunky in the fridge.
