it does because without god objective morality cannot exist

Morality exists in every species. It plays a big part in our survival and at that point it is considered objective. Male lions may kill the babies of another male lion and then mate with the mother. Doesn't mean this is the case with every animal species. Some animals are more or less agressive than others. Even among very closely related animal species there may be a huge difference in morality and their culture. Morality is also relative and is still changing in humans and differs between different human populations. During the roman civilization, men having sex with men was normal. Then it became a sin, now it is accepted again.

If we base our morality on the bible or other ancient books, most people would probably be stoned to death. Non-believers would be beheaded. Women who tell a man what to do would be slapped. Gays, transgenders and jews would be killed.

Plus most Christians are mayor hypocrites they pretty much don't obey most of the rules that are in the Old Testamant and a lot of the ones in the New Testament also.
