I don't think it would do anything outside of attracting more of the PCMR crowd. If anything, a streaming app could be a last ditch "screw you" option for Nintendo if 3rd parties are adamant in not wanting to support the Switch. Personally, I'd think trying to work some kind of deal with Nvidia and their Geforce NOW service would be a better option as it would give Nintendo control over how a streaming app would be used. I think the last thing they'd want is people using Rainway to stream pirated and emulated games on their platform -- especially games that they're going to put on their virtual console.
