1. My post was about the percentage. I didn't talk how much it is going to sell.

2. I think Microsoft plan is to treat Xbox like a PC when it comes to game development. So in 2020, games will work like this:

Very low - low settings 4K games on Xbox One X

Medium - high settings 4K games on new console.

Xbox One X will be on sale for four extra years (~2024) for people who wants to play Xbox games using a cheap console. It won't stop selling by the launch of its successor.  

Yeah like I said at the first line of my post, it's likely from a % wise you are right with your assessment :)

But... if you think the Xbox one brand will continue into the new console in 2020 do you think that the original X1 model (the version that has things like call of duty ghosts running at 720p) will still be capable of playing some version of the 2020 and beyond software so you would have

New Xbox one X 2 running games at actually 4k

Xbox one X running games at checkboard 4k or 1080 with bells and whistles on

Xbox one S running those games at sub 1080 but still that marginal gap in power over the base model

Xbox one 720p lowest settings, frame rate not guarenteed

Christ the above makes me think of this meme after E3 lol

But that's another thing, realistically I see the Xbox now as something like the Wii U especially the Xbox one, just in terms of name of system the brand has suffered badly since the reveal of the X1 by Don Mattick, it could be time their marketing comes up with a new system to distance themselves from naming confusion with the older system but allow the new machine have full 100% backwards compatibility with the old, but not the other way around anymore. (in 2020 I mean)
