I fear that he really thinks that.

Nintendo support was always split on two platforms, in this case on Wii and DS, so if you really want to compare game score releases between Sony, MS and Nintendo games, you need to include handheld games also, because for instance MS supported only Xbox360 and Nintendo supported stronger DS than Sony supported PSP.

That's an invalid excuse, I don't care that some companies had multiple systems to support, that's not my problem. If you're going to put out a system then it's your job to support it, if you don't have enough studios then open more or don't put out multiple systems. A lot of us don't like gaming on a handheld, so whatever Sony or Nintendo throw in that direction is a waste in our eyes, and not an excuse for why they aren't supporting the system I do care about and bought. MS should be commended for acknowledging that they don't have the bandwidth to support a console and a handheld.

That's not excuse, it's a fact. Its not same when one company supports only one platform and other supporting two platforms, in that case you need to consider all Nintendo and all Sony games in that generation, not only home console.
