Same for Nintendo.  They make games mostly targeted at kids.  Lots of people will never grow out of those games and keep playing as adults.  Nothing wrong with it either. 

Games like Mario and Splatoon aren't mostly targeted at kids though, they aimed just as much at adults. A huge portion of the core Nintendo fanbase are those who grew up in the 80s and 90s, a game like Odyssey is just as much for them as for those who are growing up now.

A better way of putting it would be saying they're kids games aimed at adults and kids.  Same as other things like Lego etc.
