I don't know if Kojima is to blame or not for something here and quite frankly, it doesn't matter. What we do know is that Konami has been acting terribly, much worse than a lot of other companies. By this time, we'd definitely have heard if some of the oldest companies in the industry were treating their (ex-)employees badly, but we haven't. I take that as a pretty strong sign that they're better than Konami.
