If you look at the examples I gave, none of them were constructive feedback.

Seeing the ideas other users had shows that the highlighted claims aren't any better than Nintendo's mistakes. The joycons isn't why the Switch is weak, the snes mini doesn't mean nintendo is doomed, and a $199 Switch TV probably won't come for some time.

People seem to think that I'm holding myself to a higher standard or something. I'm not- that's not my intention. Even I have held ideas which were far from stellar. However, I admit that. I never act as though I'm always right.

Compare the idea of bringing an SNES collection to Virtual Console versus the stereotypical 'Nintendo is going third party' conspiracy theory. I believe it's perfectly fine to call out outrageous claims if they are being taken seriously.

How is stuff like Switch TV not constructive feedback? Like it or not there are people who don't want the handheld part of the Switch and would much rather have a home console only version (the reverse is almost certainly true too). So would that cause extra people who may not be buying the Switch now to buy it? Decent chance of it.

Would that help alleviate the stock problems? I've heard that the parts for the screen and/or joycons are the parts that are causing production issues, so a version that doesn't need them... yeah, that would help the stock problems. More consoles on shelves and being sold can only be a good thing...

The Switch TV actually wasn't as bad of an idea as I originally stated. I will admit I was harsh on it.

The actual conversation for the thread was rather interesting, and people did present how it would fold out within the next several years. Besides my typical snarky remarks, the only issues I have regarding it is its success, additional features, and how they'll deal with handheld-only games. The handheld only problem is minor, but how much it sells would answer how big the handheld aspect of the Switch is.

Anyways, I would like to apologize for coming off rude. As terrible as the second/third points are, I certainly could've presented it better. Oh well.
