I don't prefer this over what we had back then, but I understand why we have it the way it is. Software is one month behind for more accuracy (at least I think it might be for that), and hardware is around 2 months behind to wait for some shipments/sell-through reports (NPD specifically, maybe with some official statements by Nintendo/MS/Sony). Hardware has to be at least one month behind for that to work. 



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
