Japan sells ~24,000 a week. The US is a bigger market than Japan, so the numbers are much higher. With this in mind, PS4 likely saw a decline year-over-year. I point this out as everyone is cheering "YEAH PS4" but in reality, sales are likely down. Basically, it's the kind of a sand castle. EDIT: Also software is down 20 percent. This is mostly due to Overwatch I'm sure, but it coincides with the decline in PS4 hardware. |
Don't forget digital sales this year are probably up about 10% on the figure last year. For example if it was 30% last may it would be 33% this year.
