The reason the SNES Classic is more expensive ($80 compared to $50) imo...

-Has an 'exclusive' game that isn't available outside of the pirated ROM. (Starfox 2)
-Has two controllers instead of just one controller
-Has more 'classic' games imo (Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, Zelda:Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, Super Metroid, etc.)

The reason the NES and in this case the SNES can be sold so cheap is the parts are very inexpensive compared to those in the Switch and don't compete for the same components. Remember Nintendo likely has to buy all the licenses for the third party games included or at least be given the rights, and sell these systems at a profit since its an all-in-one system with barely any outside accessories and no additional separately purchased games. Where they are still selling these at <$100.
